Ride Data

Today was a rather unremarkable day. I started in Wallaceburg and ended in Port Stanley...and just to make things confusing, I also rode through Wallacetown. I didn't take many pictures today.

The Ontario Peninsula is home to hundreds of wind turbines. Of course, it's hard to get a good picture of them because they're so spread out and generally quite far from the road I was on.

This is for Elaine. In the town of Palmyra (Ontario) is the Crazy 8 Barn, which specializes in barn quilts.

I also realized that I haven't posted my mileage and start and end towns for every day of my trip in the daily posts. Yes, it's tedious and many of you won't care that much about this level of detail. But there might be a few who are interested. I do, after all, have friends of the computer nerd/engineering geek persuasion. So without further ado, here is a spreadsheet of my daily numbers (so far):

Tomorrow I will probably get to Peacock Point.

  3. You are cranking out the miles! Your average miles/day is quite impressive - about 89.5. On a good day, that was close to my best. WOW. I'd say you probably have about 3-400 left? You can probably do those in your sleep by now!!
